How we work
Experia Academy designs experiential learning journeys rather than traditional training programmes. Our role is to hold the process and support participants in making sense of experience.
Our principles
wellbeing as the foundation for learning
learning through place and context
human-centred learning
lifelong learning as lived practice
Our methods
Experiential learning, guided reflection, dialogue, peer learning, and place-based approaches, often supported by movement and walking.
How learning happens
We design inspiring experiential learning environments—no content-heavy training days.
Learning happens through:
place and context
movement and walking
guided individual and group reflection
structured dialogue and peer learning
informal and non-formal learning approaches
Being well is part of the learning process, not added on afterwards.
Who it's for
Our learning journeys are designed for adults and organisations engaged in lifelong learning, including:
higher education lecturers and staff developers
adult educators and facilitators
community and organisational leaders
networks, associations, and member-based organisations
Erasmus+ and self-funded participants
Seasonality
Main learning seasons run from March to June and September to November.
July and August are not core seasons. Winter journeys are possible as slower, more reflective formats for motivated groups.
